Today, it was announced that everyone’s favorite building toy, Lego, will be partnering with Warner Brothers to create a variety of sets and collectibles based on The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. This intersection of geekiness is so incredible, it’s almost difficult to put into words. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITE! paging helms-deep! And there was much rejoicing.  And the remnant of the filament rejoiced and were exceedingly glad.  And all the heavens and the earth raised their hands in joyous exuberance.  For unto us is announced today, in the world of geek-dom and nostalgia, a toy collection which will ripple the very firmament of the universe. One Toy, must own them all One Toy, must find them One Toy, must buy them all, and in my living room play with them I’m pretty sure next Christmas will be nothing but a LOTR LEGO gift extravaganza.  I mean, for my girls, of course.  They need these toys in their life.  It’s important.  For reasons.
